Children's Ministry
The Children’s Ministry at Calvary Chapel ministers to all ages. From the precious babies in our nursery to those through the elementary who are growing both physically and spiritually. In our classes our aim is to teach the children about the Lord and how He would havethem walk. This is done through visual aids, hands on activities, interaction with others kids and teachers, bible reading and more. Margie Balcos heads up the Children’s Ministry and she is a gifted teacher herself, with an unending love for the children, being a mother of six herself. Along with Margie, our teaching staff is a great help with a passion for the Lord and the kids. Children’s Ministry is provided for on Sunday and Wednesday services. The Children’s Ministry is definitely a place where a kid can feel comfortable, have fun, and grow in God’s word.
Jr. & Sr. High is a great age where the kids are moving into adulthood and starting to mature and grow in the Lord. With many temptations in this world we seek to help our youth to stand strong in the Lord, being a witness at school and in every area of their lives. The High School and Jr. High meet every Wednesday night, and the Jr. High meet every Sunday morning during 1st service at 9am, where they spend some time in fellowship and then go through the Word. Men's Ministry
The men at Calvary meet at the church on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of each month for their evening Bible studies. These are times to get into God's word and apply it to ones life, as well as time to be supported in what ever need one might have. Calvary has a great group of guys, who love God and are looking to become better leaders in this church, on the job, and in their homes.

Women's Ministry
Pat Gary oversees the Women's Ministry with a supporting cast of Wink Vincent, Belinda James, Mary Berg, and Margie Balcos. Currently the women are on a short break from their regular Tuesday morning and evening meetings. The time includes an in-depth study, discussion, prayer, and worship. Each year they always have a retreat that always proves to be a time of great growth and fellowship.

Small Group & Marriage Ministry
SMALL GROUP MINISTRY - Small Groups is a great opportunity to be involved in Calvary Lynnwood and to really get to know people in a small group environment. Currently the home groups are on their summer schedule. Be sure to contact Bill Lemesurier for details.
MARRIAGE MINISTRY - Our assistant Pastor Bill LeMesurier heads up our marriage ministry
which includes events, studies, and marriage and pre-marriage
counseling. In these difficult times that we live in where marriage is
being attacked in our culture today, we know just how important a godly
marriage is and how the Lord knows that we can always grow in our
marriage relationship. We believe that a healthy marriage is the
foundation of a good family and a fruitful church and we are always
looking for God to do a work in this area of our lives. Make sure to

if you are in need for any counseling you can call our church office
and ask to speak with Pastor Bill or Pastor Scott.

Here at Calvary Chapel Lynnwood we believe in the importance of supporting Missionaries financially and prayerfully that are faithfully spreading God's light to this dark world. Currently we have Dan & Christie Bushy in Asia, Pierre & Nancy in France, David & Debi Carroll and Tony & Teressa Rizzo with Gospel for Asia, John & Stacy Rooker in the Middle East, Jeremy & Marjorie Meeks in Nicaragua, and John & Nada Jean Willis in Asia. If you would like to support these missionaries with us we encourage you to keep them in your prayers and/or contact the church office for financial donations.

Prayer Ministry
Calvary Chapel has always held that prayer is vital to the church and its health. The church started with a prayer meeting and has since then continued to be a church that prays. Prayer is a part of every service, every class, as well as various weekly prayer meeting in different location. We have Prayer Retreats and a Prayer Ministry made up of members in the Body who prayer weekly for the various needs that come in.
