Calvary Chapel Lynnwood History
The church actually started several months earlier in a home where for several months about 25 people sought the Lord in prayer seeking His leading as to when to go to Sunday services. Having then sensed the Lord’s leading to start a church in the area of the cities of Edmonds and Lynnwood, the church was started. Although the church at this time still hasn’t exploded like some Calvary’s have, it is a vibrant fellowship with a great love for the Lord and others. Like other Calvary’s it has a strong emphasis on teaching through God’s word - equipping the saints, worship, and reaching the lost for Christ.
